About The Position

Jimmy John's Delivery Driver's goal is to get that sandwich in the customer's hand as quick as can be. We do this by learning the most efficient route, double checking orders to ensure everything is accounted for, and hustling on our feet (while always being safe and law abiding while on the street). Drivers take home cash every day. While not on the road, drivers will look after the dining room and bathroom. Making sure everything is clean and stocked. Delivery is a customer service job, so following customer's request and doing it with a smile can lead to more successful days.

Requirements

• Must be at least 19 years old, or have a minimum of 3 years driving experience
• Must have a reliable vehicle
• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance
• Clean driving record
• Drive safely and obey the rules of the road
• Keep vehicle in good repair inside and out

Responsibilities

• Deliver sandwiches to customers in a timely manner
• Learn the most efficient routes for delivery
• Double check orders to ensure accuracy
• Maintain cleanliness and stock in the dining room and bathroom
• Provide excellent customer service and follow customer requests

Benefits

• Starting rate of $12/hr while at the store and $9/hr on the road
• Potential to earn $24 or more an hour with tips and mileage
• Cross-training as in-store employee with a starting rate of $14/hr
• Flexible part-time and full-time shifts available
