The Delivery Driver / Hose Assembly Technician will support our Midland operations. This hybrid role is responsible for timely local deliveries while also performing hose assembly and light production work in the shop Description of Key Responsibilities: Safely operate company vehicles to make local deliveries and pickups throughout the Midland and surrounding areas Verify delivery contents against packing slips and customer orders Load, secure, and unload materials while following all safety procedures Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain required signatures Perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs Assemble hydraulic and industrial hoses according to specifications and work orders Measure, cut, crimp, and pressure-test hose assemblies to quality standards Inspect finished assemblies to ensure compliance with company and customer requirements Assist with inventory handling, stocking, and general shop organization Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment All other duties as assigned. Requirements Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements High School Diploma or GED required Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Previous delivery driving experience preferred Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and equipment Experience with hose assembly or hydraulic components is a plus (training provided if needed) Ability to read work orders, measurements, and basic technical instructions Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Prefer industry experience within industrial, oilfield, mining or construction applications. Proficient in written and verbal English communication Must be capable of performing duties independently with minimal supervision and working in a close-knit team setting Ability to adhere to safety protocols Physical Demands : The employee is regularly required to stand for the entire work day. The employee regularly lifts and carries 50 lbs Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands and fingers to pick, feel, and/or inspect material. The employee will also reach with arms and hands as needed. Work is primarily executed on the production floor, with varying temperatures and high levels of noise; personal safety equipment such as glasses and protective shoes may be required
