About The Position
As a Delivery Driver at Papa John's Pizza, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and in a timely manner. Your primary responsibility will be to check all products for accuracy against quality standards and deliver them safely and courteously. You will be part of a team that supports the restaurant by performing various duties, including pizza production and order taking, while adhering to the company's Mission Statement. It is essential to comply with Papa John's uniform, appearance, and operations standards as outlined in the Operations Manual, Team Member Handbook, and ULEARN, as well as with federal, state, and local laws and ordinances. In this role, you will be responsible for pre-delivery vehicle preparation, learning the delivery area, checking orders for quality and accuracy, and following proper delivery procedures. Providing exceptional customer service is paramount, and you will engage with customers both in person and over the phone, always acting with a sense of urgency. Additionally, you will perform other assigned workstation duties, which may include making quality products, preparing ingredients, and taking orders. Teamwork is vital, and you will assist other team members by being punctual for your shift and supporting various workstations during your time at the restaurant. You will also be expected to enhance the company's image by complying with uniform and appearance standards, contributing to a positive atmosphere of teamwork, energy, and fun. Accurately processing order paperwork and payment transactions, executing cash management duties, and utilizing the PROFIT system are also part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will support sales efforts by suggestively selling to increase the check average when taking orders and distributing promotional materials during your shifts. Maintaining organized, safe, and clean work areas while complying with safety and security standards is essential to protect the company's assets.
