Position Overview: This position of delivery driver will deliver our company’s products to assigned store locations in a safe and efficient manner. The driver will be expected to execute the check-in of products verifying correct delivered quantities at each store location. The ideal candidate has the ability to work and drive safely, while also displaying communication, organizational and customer service skills.

Requirements

Valid Class B driver’s license preferred with good driving record required.
Must be 21 years old.
Must have the ability to lift 70+ lbs.
Must be able to pass DOT physical and drug test.
Comfortable working in cold temperatures.
Full-time position - $27.00 - $29.00/hour based on experience.

Nice To Haves

Pallet Jack experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Use of I-pad tablet and printer to execute invoicing at store locations as well as balance truck inventory.
Use of a manual, or electric pallet jack to make deliveries.
Drive and maintain a company vehicle in a safe manner while ensuring proper DOT Pre-and post-trip inspections are conducted at the beginning and end of each shift.
Must be able to safely operate lift gate on a truck to assist load/unload process.
Professional communication with our customers and route/staff members.
Maintains high safety standards while holding oneself accountable to working and driving safely.
Organized and accountable to ensure on-time store assigned deliveries daily while working safely and efficiently abiding with procedures, rules and regulations.
Basic knowledge of delivery functions from ground and dock levels.
Basic math skills needed to accurately handle job functions and work through invoice issues.
Performs other duties as assigned assist with merchandising products as needed and provide support to sales/store staff to support route needs.
Must be able to work efficiently while maintaining product integrity through the cold chain requirements moving products through the check in process and into storage freezers at store level.
Must be able to start work early in the morning and work overtime as needed.
