About The Position

The Delivery Driver Class A position at Airgas involves safely and efficiently delivering compressed gas cylinders to local and regional business customers. Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with HAZMAT & Airbrake endorsements
• No more than two traffic convictions or two at-fault accidents in the last 3 years
• Must not have driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven years
• Ability to work in a drug-free environment
• Ability to regularly lift 75lbs and move more than 125lbs with material handling equipment

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Load and unload the truck daily with gas cylinders and supplies
• Maintain courteous and professional relationships with customers
• Make deliveries in a timely manner
• Safely strap and unstrap cylinders
• Make deliveries on customer property sites using a hand cart
• Frequently exit the vehicle during deliveries
