About The Position

The Delivery Driver position at Cannabis Eaze is a vital role responsible for ensuring safe and compliant deliveries while providing excellent customer service. The driver acts as the face of the delivery service, maintaining professionalism and communication with customers and team members. This role requires the use of a personal vehicle and adherence to local and state laws, as well as company policies.

Requirements

  • Must be 21+ years old.
  • Must have a valid driver's license (California State-issued driver's license required in Sacramento).
  • Current vehicle registration.
  • Must be listed as an authorized driver on the vehicle's insurance.
  • Safe driver with a clean driving record, cannot have 2+ points on your driving record.
  • Must have a smartphone that is not more than 5 years old.
  • Must own a vehicle meeting specific requirements: enclosed car (no trucks, 2014 model year or newer), active working alarm, and active climate control system in the vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Exhibit excellent communication and professional customer service skills toward customers in all interactions.
  • Communicate effectively with the support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed, informing them of any cancellations, concerns, customer complaints, or incidents.
  • Communicate scheduling needs with the Manager in compliance with the company's Time and Attendance Policy.
  • Support depot in stickering received products as directed by the Management team.
  • Review and execute customer's delivery instructions and/or notes.
  • Accurately complete an incident report in the event of a customer complaint or need to file a complaint against a customer.
  • Comply with submitting pertinent paperwork to Human Resources when requested or required by law.
  • Complete immediate and accurate reporting of all injuries or motor vehicle accidents per company policy and procedure.
  • Accurate cash handling procedures in accordance with the company's procedures.
  • Maintain valid required documentation for vehicle operation: Driver's license, vehicle registration, and vehicle insurance.
  • Perform compliant and complete deliveries.
  • Follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and Company policies.
  • Service all orders received in your queue between your scheduled shift start and scheduled shift end time before returning to the depot in compliance with DCC guidelines.
