About The Position

Safely and professionally deliver customer orders on assigned routes while representing GEM Supply with integrity, timeliness, and a service-first mindset. Drivers are the final link in our fulfillment chain, ensuring customers receive the right products at the right time.

Requirements

• Valid Class E license with 26' box truck driving experience or CDL Class A or B
• Clean motor vehicle record (MVR) with no major violations.
• Minimum 2 years professional driving experience; experience with delivery or route-based operations strongly preferred.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, operate lift gates, and safely maneuver pallet jacks or hand trucks.
• Familiarity with local routes, GPS navigation, and basic vehicle maintenance.
• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to stay until duties are complete.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Route Deliveries – Operate company vehicles on assigned routes, delivering orders accurately and on schedule.
• Load & Unload – Secure loads properly and unload products safely at customer locations.
• Customer Service – Serve as the face of GEM Supply on site; greet customers professionally and resolve delivery questions with care.
• Vehicle Care – Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain cleanliness, and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Safety & Compliance – Follow all DOT regulations, company safety procedures, and traffic laws.
• Team Support – Assist warehouse staff as needed with loading or staging to ensure on-time departures.
• Other Duties as Assigned – Flexibility to support operational success in areas beyond direct deliveries.
