About The Position

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Proven ability to operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong navigation abilities and familiarity with route planning tools
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing delivery records
• Physical stamina to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in delivery or professional driving preferred
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) may be required depending on vehicle type
• Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible schedule to accommodate varying delivery demands
• Proficiency in using mobile devices and delivery management software

Responsibilities

• Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently to transport packages to designated locations
• Load and unload packages from delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling and organization
• Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries
• Verify delivery information and obtain necessary signatures upon package delivery
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
• Adhere to all company policies, traffic laws, and safety regulations
• Report any incidents, accidents, or vehicle maintenance issues to management
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned by the logistics team
