About The Position

As a Delivery Driver at Staples, you will transport products safely and deliver office supplies on your assigned route to customers. You will be surrounded by a team focused on making an impact on customers, the community, and each other. Safety is our utmost priority, and you will ensure safe work practices while organizing and loading products for delivery. You will also provide customer support, accept product returns, and be empowered to enhance customer experiences.

Requirements

• Must have a valid drivers' license with a safe driving history.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen (No THC).
• Must obtain a 6-month DOT medical card specific to the role.
• Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to lift up to 70lbs and push/pull items weighing up to 400lbs.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 1-year of truck driving experience (operating a 16ft or longer straight truck).
• High volume package delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Transport products safely and deliver office supplies on assigned route.
• Load truck depending on volume and ensure safe work practices.
• Organize and load product for delivery utilizing the manifest.
• Provide customer support and accept product returns.
• Make sound decisions related to driving, parking, and customer interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicle and perform pre-trip vehicle inspections.
