About The Position

The Delivery Driver at Oerlikon Balzers Coatings USA Inc. is responsible for operating company vans and delivery vehicles to transport coated products between the Coating Center and customers. This role involves loading and unloading materials, preparing documentation for deliveries, and maintaining the delivery vehicle. The position requires a commitment to customer service and safety, with a significant portion of the job dedicated to driving and some time spent working in the coating center.

Requirements

• High School graduate or GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs and work with hands.
• Strong work ethic, high-energy, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vans and delivery vehicles for product transportation.
• Load and unload materials and goods at various destinations.
• Prepare and provide documentation for deliveries and pickups.
• Maintain delivery vehicle and ensure all registrations and insurance are current.
• Interact with customers and co-workers in a friendly manner.
• Work in the coating center when not driving, including packing and receiving tasks.
• Obtain customer signatures when required.
• Demonstrate safe driving habits and provide timely deliveries.
