As a Delivery Expert (Driver) at Domino's, you will be responsible for collecting cash and credit card payments, as well as coupons for delivered items. You will need to demonstrate the ability to read maps and quickly determine directions to ensure timely deliveries. Checking all products for accuracy against quality standards is essential, as is carrying out deliveries in a safe and timely manner. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the delivery vehicle passes inspection, both mechanically and visually. Upholding Domino's standards of grooming, uniform, and appearance is a must. Additionally, you will promote pizza products, specials, and promotions, and receive cross-training for preparing products and ingredients, as well as for closing and opening procedures. Operating the pizza oven and properly boxing products for delivery or carryout will also be part of your duties. You will need to exhibit a sense of urgency when answering store phone lines or assisting carryout customers, and provide quality customer service to both internal and external customers, both over the phone and in person. Clear communication skills, both spoken and written, are necessary, along with the ability to use a computer-based order entry system. Contributing to and promoting an atmosphere of teamwork, energy, and fun is also an important aspect of this role.
