The position involves various general job duties including the operation of all equipment, stocking and rotating ingredients from delivery to storage, preparing products, and receiving and processing telephone and internet orders. The role also includes counting inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job training will cover customer service orientation, an interactive computer program, and hands-on practice. Customer service skills are essential, requiring the ability to comprehend and communicate both verbally and in writing with customers and co-workers over the phone and in person. Additionally, pizza delivery skills are necessary, which include safely driving one's own vehicle, navigating roads and maps, and managing adverse terrain and stairs while carrying products. Essential skills also include basic math abilities to accurately add, subtract, multiply, and divide for making correct monetary change, with the option to use a calculator.
