On-the-job training will cover customer service orientation, an interactive computer program, and hands-on practice. Customer service skills are essential, requiring the ability to comprehend and communicate both verbally and in writing with customers and co-workers, whether over the phone or in person. Additionally, pizza delivery skills are necessary, including the ability to safely drive one's own vehicle, navigate roads and maps, and manage adverse terrain or stairs at delivery sites while carrying products. Essential skills also include basic math abilities to accurately add, subtract, multiply, and divide for making correct monetary change, with the option to use a calculator.
