About The Position
The position involves collecting cash and credit card payments for delivered items, ensuring accuracy and quality standards for delivery. The role requires the ability to read maps and quickly determine directions, as well as checking all products for accuracy before delivery. Delivery Experts must ensure that the vehicle used for delivery passes inspection, both mechanically and visually, and uphold the company's standards of grooming, uniform, and appearance. Additionally, the position includes promoting pizza products, specials, and promotions, and receiving cross-training for preparing products and ingredients, as well as operating the pizza oven and properly boxing products for delivery or carryout. A sense of urgency is essential when answering store phone lines or assisting carryout customers, and quality customer service must be provided to both internal and external customers, both over the phone and in person. The role also requires clear communication skills and the ability to use a computer-based order entry system, while contributing to a positive atmosphere of teamwork, energy, and fun.
