About The Position

The Driver position at our company involves collecting cash and credit card payments for delivered items, ensuring product accuracy against quality standards, and delivering items safely and timely. The role requires maintaining the vehicle used for delivery to meet inspection standards and upholding grooming and uniform standards. Additionally, drivers will promote pizza products and specials, receive cross-training for various tasks, and provide quality customer service to both internal and external customers.

Requirements

• Must pass background check
• Must be 18 years of age
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
• Must have access to an insured vehicle for delivery
• Must be listed as an insured driver on the vehicle
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly
• Ability to make correct monetary change
• Ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings

Responsibilities

• Collect cash/credit card payments and coupons for delivered items
• Check all products for accuracy against quality standards for delivery
• Ensure vehicle used for delivery passes inspection, both mechanically and visually
• Uphold company standards of grooming, uniform, and appearance
• Promote pizza products, specials, and promotions
• Receive cross-training for preparing products and ingredients, closing and opening procedures, operate pizza oven, and properly box products for delivery or carryout
• Exhibit a sense of urgency when answering store phone lines or helping carryout customers
• Provide quality customer service to internal and external customers both over the phone and in person
• Possess navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within designated delivery areas
• Operate all equipment and stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler
• Prepare product and receive/process telephone orders
• Take inventory and complete associate paperwork
• Clean equipment and facility daily
