About The Position

The Driver position at our company involves collecting cash and credit card payments for delivered items, ensuring the accuracy of products against quality standards, and delivering items safely and timely. The role requires upholding grooming and uniform standards, promoting pizza products and specials, and providing quality customer service both over the phone and in person. Additionally, drivers will receive cross-training for various tasks including preparing products, operating the pizza oven, and handling delivery procedures.

Requirements

• Must pass background check
• Must be 18 years of age
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
• Must have access to an insured vehicle for delivery
• Must be listed as an insured driver on the vehicle
• Possess navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses
• Ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly
• Must be able to make correct monetary change
• Ability to operate all equipment and stock ingredients
• Ability to clean equipment and facility daily

Responsibilities

• Collect cash/credit card payments and coupons for delivered items
• Check all products for accuracy against quality standards for delivery
• Ensure vehicle used for delivery passes inspection, both mechanically and visually
• Uphold company standards of grooming, uniform, and appearance
• Promote pizza products, specials, and promotions
• Receive cross-training for preparing products and ingredients
• Exhibit a sense of urgency when answering store phone lines or helping carryout customers
• Provide quality customer service to internal and external customers
• Contribute to and promote an atmosphere of teamwork, energy, and fun
