Job Description This dual-role is ideal for someone who enjoys driving, and thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Get paid to do what you love and be part of something sweet! Your shift will involve delivering pastries to local storefronts, dough production in the kitchen, and general warehouse duties.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older to apply.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Must successfully pass a driver history check, drug test, and physical.
  • Comfortable driving during early morning hours.
  • Experience in driving a 16 ft. box truck and/or sprinter van.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, walk, bend, squat, and use a ladder continuously during shifts.
  • Strong upper body strength required to press, push, and flatten dough, as well as to leverage and press sheets of butter into prepared dough.
  • Comfortable performing repetitive and physically strenuous tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong desire to learn, grow, and continuously improve.
  • Work with efficiency, intentionality, and haste.

Nice To Haves

  • Interest in baking or working in a professional kitchen is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Safely and promptly deliver our pastries to our storefronts.
  • Ensure all products arrive in perfect condition and on time.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
  • Communicate effectively with store managers and kitchen staff.
  • Assist in preparing dough for our signature croissant-style doughnuts, yeast-raised, fritters, cookies, and savory pastries.
  • Hand-cut and laminate dough with precision and care.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with food safety standards.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen environment.
