About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Proshop and Delivery Captain to join our team. This role is vital to ensuring that our customers receive top-quality service both before and after their boat purchase. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing boats for delivery, providing an exceptional customer experience through delivery walkthroughs, and managing the organization and sales of parts and accessories. This individual will also play a key role in post-delivery customer support and ensuring the efficient operation of the proshop.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of boating products and accessories.
• Previous experience in boat delivery, customer service, or related fields preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license (and boat operator's license, if required).
• Physically capable of performing tasks that may involve lifting and handling heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Delivery Boat Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of boats before delivery, ensuring they meet our high standards and are ready for customer use.
• Pre-Delivery Welcome Videos: Create and present personalized welcome videos for each customer, introducing them to their new boat and its features.
• Delivery Walkthroughs: Lead customers through comprehensive delivery walkthroughs, explaining boat features, safety protocols, and maintenance requirements.
• On-Water Deliveries (If Needed): Occasionally provide on-water delivery services to customers, ensuring their comfort and safety on the water.
• Post-Delivery Parts and Accessories Walkthrough: Review the parts and accessories included with the boat, offering guidance on usage, maintenance, and any necessary installation.
