The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills: Responsible for leading the manufacturing operations for a large value stream within a product line. platform for all aspects of manufacturing execution including execution to an MRP schedule and managing work-in-process to avoid aging work orders. Monitor MRP tools, production schedules, WIP Tracker (shop floor), and non-conformances against delivery commit dates. Estimate/revise delivery dates. Have a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the production organization concerned with the assembly and processing operations, including a thorough knowledge of manufacturing-related policies/procedures and quality and customer requirements. Identify bottlenecks, conduct gap analysis, create recovery plans, and track action items to closure. Liaise with internal customers and supply chain to understand their needs and issues and ensure that the customers receive satisfactory service standards. Read/interpret drawings and understand GD&T and critical characteristics (KPCs). Be involved with Process Planning and Production Readiness reviews. Familiarity with Control Plans and Operating/Work Instructions. Exposure to Lean methodologies and tools. Have basic understanding with quality systems and industry standards compliance (including process and material certs). Periodic interface is required with both internal and external customers at the Rome, NY site including Program Management Reviews (PMRs), and follow-ups with the supply chain and value stream leaders Liaise with internal customers and supply chain to understand their needs and issues and ensure that the customers receive satisfactory service standards. Pull together the Line of Balances (LOB) and summary charts for VSL to present at executive reviews.
