Requirements

  • 3+ years in Delivery Assurance with on-site supplier experience a plus.
  • Proven track record of creating and maintaining relationships.
  • Familiarity with Aerospace Industry and Parts, or related engineering field is a plus.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills.
  • Exposure to ERP systems, SAP preferred.
  • Quick learner with aptitude to learn more and drive change.
  • Experience in working in a cross-functional team.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, communicative, and organized.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Great interpersonal and networking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Improve visibility into material availability.
  • Receive inputs from Supply Chain Managers and Operations on priority parts and work to confirm supplier commits, enter data into SAP and tracking files.
  • Support efforts to improve supplier schedules where needed.
  • Communicate daily with operations and supply chain personnel to convey critical parts status.
  • Clear internal obstacles to ensure parts are moving through approval processes such as quality inspections, first article reviews, engineering changes.
  • Attend weekly working level supply chain site and business unit meetings - provide part status inputs.
  • Work with team to update presentations as needed.
  • Manage ship commitments spreadsheet against demand and overdue - work to get updated daily.
  • Track down SRI's, QN's and FAI's and drive action - charting the processing time of open SRIs and scaling their priority levels.
  • Managing a group of suppliers mainly in Connecticut area providing regular updates to the team.
  • Manage MRP message and commitments in the portal from suppliers.
