Delivery and Service Technician
About The Position
Our Monticello, IA location is looking for Delivery and Service Technician to join their team. This is an excellent, full-time opportunity to become part of our Employee Owned Company. You will go the extra mile to communicate with the customers on service related issues, and recommend the best course of action. We will train you to install and service water treatment equipment used in homes and small businesses. You will learn about water treatment while performing routine maintenance, filter changes, sanitizations and equipment exchanges.
Requirements
- Customer service experience required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience and ability to work independently without supervision.
- Technical experience and mechanical aptitude required. We will train.
- High School Equivalency required.
- Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Certificate required.
- Valid Driver License: Class C licensed required.
- Ability to lift 80 pounds and to move 250 pounds assisted.
Nice To Haves
- Delivery experience helpful with experience driving a large service vehicle preferred.
- Knowledge of the geographic area helpful.
- Ability to read a map.
- Class D Non-Commercial Chauffer license will be required after hire.
