About The Position
This role is for a Delivery Driver and Installation Specialist at Aaron's. It is not a desk job and involves a variety of tasks including driving, installing, demonstrating merchandise to customers, and supporting the store with moving, installing, and picking up merchandise. The position offers a career path starting from Delivery Driver and potentially leading to Customer Accounts Advisor, Sales Manager, Customer Accounts Manager, and General Manager. The role emphasizes daily variety and interaction with community members.
Requirements
- Solid communication skills
- Working knowledge of electronics
- Desire to help customers
- Age: 21 (18 in Canada)
- Must meet DOT requirements for certification (U.S.)
- Able to perform physical job including lifting up to 50 lbs. without help and 300 lbs. with a dolly (training and tools provided)
- Able to work in all outdoor weather, including rain or summer sun
- A valid driver’s license is required, but not a CDL
- No overnight travel
