Delivery and Installation Specialist
About The Position
This is a dynamic, store-based Delivery Driver role at Aaron's, where you will be involved in various tasks both inside and outside the store. Responsibilities include driving, installing, and demonstrating merchandise to customers. The position is not a typical desk job and requires supporting the store by assisting with moving, installing, and picking up merchandise. It offers opportunities to connect with community members and serves as a potential first step in a career path that could lead to roles like Customer Accounts Advisor, Sales Manager, and General Manager.
Requirements
- Solid communication skills
- Working knowledge of electronics
- Desire to help customers
- Age: 21 (18 in Canada)
- Must meet DOT requirements for certification (U.S.)
- Able to perform physical job including lifting up to 50 lbs. without help and 300 lbs. with a dolly
- Able to work in all outdoor weather, including rain or summer sun
- A valid driver’s license is required, but not a CDL
- No overnight travel
