About The Position
As a Food Clerk at Meijer, you will be responsible for delivering remarkable customer service by providing customers with exceptional product knowledge, efficient service, and a friendly attitude. This role is vital in keeping our store running smoothly and positively impacting the community we serve. You will engage with customers, build rapport, and ensure they have a pleasant shopping experience. This position is applicable to various departments, including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, and Grocery. In this role, you will be exposed to a variety of retail tasks related to product, customer service, and merchandising. You will need to display a friendly and outgoing attitude, respond effectively to customer questions, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
