About The Position
Our Deli’s are a convenient place for our customers to stop for breakfast, lunch or great coffee on the go. Our hard-working and friendly team make it all happen- from preparing delicious food, delivering first class customer service at the deli counter, or maintaining great hygiene standards by keeping the prep and service areas clean. You’ll be supported by a team of brilliant people, and there are fantastic career development and progression opportunities. As Deli Team Member you will: • Listening to and understanding our customers' needs and advising customers about our products and services.• Provide a first-class service to all of our customers. • Prepare, cook and bake goods, working within food safety regulations. • Keeping prep areas and counters clean and tidy, including kitchen porter and production kitchen duties. • Work as part of a team to ensure all counters - SPAR Bakery and deli remain fresh and appetizing for our customers. • Undertake other duties as required for the role.
