About The Position
At The Fresh Market, our mission is to make everyday eating extraordinary for our guests, and we are looking for dedicated team members who will help us deliver on this mission. As a team member, you will have the opportunity to work in various departments, including Deli, Meat & Seafood, Bakery, Grocery, Produce & Floral, and our Front-End. This role is essential in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and have a hospitable shopping experience. You will engage with guests to understand their needs and assist them in creating meal solutions, while also maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Your responsibilities will include consistently providing excellent guest service, which involves engaging with our guests to learn their wants and needs. You will maintain knowledge of products and weekly ad items throughout the store, working across departments to assist guests effectively. Additionally, you will be responsible for merchandising and stocking products, gathering shopping carts from the parking lot, and assisting with general housekeeping duties. Properly receiving and stocking goods according to The Fresh Market standards is crucial, as is slicing and preparing a variety of meats, cheeses, and convenient meal solutions while maintaining quality product levels. Presenting yourself in a professional manner and adhering to uniform standards is also a key aspect of this position.
