Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations of the Service Deli, ensuring a clean, well‑organized, and customer‑focused department
  • Deliver high‑quality customer service and resolve customer concerns in a professional and timely manner
  • Train, schedule, supervise, and coach deli associates to ensure proper staffing and performance
  • Plan daily food production, manage inventory levels, and order supplies as needed
  • Prepare, display, and merchandise hot and cold deli foods, trays, and specialty items
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, weights and measures, and company policies
  • Operate and oversee the safe use of deli equipment, including slicers and food preparation tools
  • Monitor product quality, freshness, and presentation to drive sales and customer satisfaction
  • Perform cash handling duties, including operating registers and processing customer payments
