How You Will Make an Impact: We are seeking a Deli Manager for our Richmond location who will deliver outstanding customer service, lead a diverse team, and ensure smooth and efficient operations. Your leadership and organizational skills will be crucial in maintaining the high standards of our deli, ensuring that both our customers and team members have a positive experience.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a restaurant or deli supervisor/manager or similar role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in inventory management.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily functions of the deli to guarantee both efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist staff in preparing orders, confirm food production meets our quality standards, and manage stock levels and product availability.
  • Foster a positive team environment; make staffing adjustments and handle disciplinary issues; collaborate with the HR team to recruit, interview, and hire new staff members, as needed.
  • Conduct regular inventories of all products and arrange for timely orders of paper goods and food supplies to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Coordinate and oversee the execution of after-hours events when the deli space is rented out, ensuring all details are handled smoothly.
  • Foster a welcoming atmosphere for guests, promptly addressing any inquiries or complaints to enhance their experience.
  • Generate end-of-day reports to monitor sales and inventory, providing valuable insights into the deli's performance.
