About the position
As a Deli Host at Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores, you will provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a clean and stocked deli area. This role involves preparing deli products, assisting customers, and ensuring food safety standards are met. The position is designed for individuals with no prior experience, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Interact with customers and provide top-notch customer service.
- Answer questions about menu offerings and address customer needs.
- Assist store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars.
- Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides.
- Use various methods and technologies to maintain proper food safety conditions.
- Cross-train in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
Requirements
- Ability to move and lift 25+ pounds.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
