Super 1 Foods is seeking a deli cook responsible for making all Super 1 Foods recipes to specification and ensuring the highest food quality and taste. This position requires adherence to all procedural guidelines set by the department manager. The deli cook will prep all ingredients and recipes to ensure the highest quality and taste, properly stock, rotate labels, and store products. Additionally, the cook will practice proper care and maintenance of all equipment and ensure cleanliness of food preparation areas, storage areas, and work areas for safety. This includes cleaning shelves and products, keeping floors free of liquid spills or water, removing hazardous debris from the floor, and sweeping. The deli cook will also receive, inspect, and log products for accuracy of production, temperature, and quality. This role requires operating and using equipment such as knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, as well as using knowledge of scales and weight measures to accurately weigh and label products.
