Requirements

  • Minimum High school diploma or GED
  • One to two years' experience in customer service
  • Six months management experience or a combination of relevant education and experience
  • Minimum 18 years of age (19 in Idaho)
  • Ability to pass a drug test
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work weekends regularly and any shift
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
  • Barista certification
  • Any licenses or certificates required by federal and/or state

Responsibilities

  • Assist manager with daily operating procedures

  • Assist managers in hiring new associates
  • Train and develop associates to meet customer service and operating standards
  • Verify corporate policies and store operating standards are communicated and followed
  • Demonstrate and verify adherence to Starbucks standards
  • Maintain health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
  • Perform and direct cleaning and operational tasks
  • Comply with merchandising, stocking, and product storage standards
  • Assist in kiosk scheduling and adjust staffing as needed
  • Verify cash handling and register functions are accurate
  • Ensure proper ordering and stocking of materials and merchandise
  • Communicate new product information to associates
  • Complete accurate and timely reports
  • Successfully complete and implement Advanced Store Training
  • Manage common associate areas to ensure they are inviting
  • Supervise and coach direct reports
  • Complete performance reviews and provide feedback
