About The Position

The Deli Clerk at Kroger is responsible for creating an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service and encouraging other associates to do the same. This role involves establishing and maintaining a safe and clean environment that encourages customer returns. Deli Clerks assist the department manager in achieving sales and profit goals and monitor all established quality assurance standards. Most importantly, Deli team members are expected to demonstrate Kroger’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. Responsibilities

• Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service while encouraging other associates to do the same.
• Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return.
• Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals established for the department.
• Monitor all established quality assurance standards.
• Demonstrate Kroger’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
