Ability to work in varying temperatures (hot cases, coolers, freezers)
Basic literacy and numeracy required

Responsibilities

Provide courteous, personalized service to customers, including handling complaints and promoting a positive shopping experience.
Prepare and sell custom-sliced deli items, hot and cold foods, salads, and party trays.
Maintain cleanliness, visual appeal, and inventory levels of the deli case and work area.
Operate deli equipment such as slicers, ovens, fryers, and food processors safely and efficiently.
Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
Receive and organize product deliveries, verify invoices, and rotate stock to ensure freshness.
Engage in suggestive selling and promote deli products through customer interaction.
Ensure compliance with company policies and food safety regulations.
Perform all duties with honesty, accuracy, and integrity.
