Requirements

• Experience cooking for restaurant, food service, caterer or deli.
• Ability to communicate basic information and ideas in spoken English so others will understand.
• Basic knowledge of sanitation practices.
• Has the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations, including on feet 100% of time.
• Proficiency in maintaining safety while handling potential fumes, chemicals, odors, and/or noise.
• Capacity to handle and lift up to 40lbs. as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food items according to standards and food safety and sanitation guidelines. Ensures adequate supply of food for sale.
• Assists with setup, prep work, and delivery of food products.
• Maintains cleanliness and order of all kitchen equipment.
• Organizes and maintains dry storage, coolers, and freezers.
