About The Position
The Deli Clerk position involves various essential job functions including stocking and straightening merchandise, pricing items according to departmental guidelines, and following proper wrapping and packaging procedures. The role requires performing basic housekeeping duties and operating tools and equipment safely. The clerk will also be responsible for cleaning deli-bakery tools, producing bakery/deli products, and maintaining a clean work area. The position demands standing or walking for extended periods and the ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds, with some tasks requiring lifting over 50 pounds and working in temperature extremes.
