About The Position
General Job Duties: Greet all customers in a friendly manner. Assist customers with deli purchases. Thank customers for their patronage. Maintain a clean work area. Sweep and pick up debris within store. Stock deli items as needed. Rotate merchandise by newer merchandise behind older merchandise. Place products in refrigerator units as needed. Maintain Sweep Sheet every half hour. Inspect products when placing items on shelves. Maintain a clean refrigerator section. Place expired products at Expired Item rack (confirm with management on the expired products. Assist and participate with Company marketing promotional events and programs as needed and all other assigned job duties. Qualifications Essential Job Duties: Lift boxes and product ranging between 20 lbs up to 60 lbs Place boxes/product onto dolly or cart Push/pull between 30 lbs up to 200 lbs (items on cart/dolly) Bend/Stoop pick up and or place product below waist level (including shelves and racks) Place product onto shelves and position for sale Grasp/Grip product to prepare for sales floor Constant sweeping/pushing broom to pick up debris to keep work area clean Place and remove product from Deli cooler (including shelving and bins) Reaching above shoulder level (product placement on sales floor plus shelving/rack system in deli warehouse areas) Place debris/trash/recycle cardboard in respective areas Will clean and maintain shelves and bins Climb ladders to retrieve product on top shelf/deli cooler Physical Requirements: Lift boxes and product ranging between 20 lbs up to 60 lbs Place boxes/product onto dolly or cart Push/pull between 30 lbs up to 200 lbs (items on cart/dolly) Bend/Stoop pick up and or place product below waist level (including shelves and racks
