About The Position
As a Deli Clerk at BJ's Wholesale Club, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our members while handling various deli products. Your primary responsibilities will include slicing, packaging, weighing, and selling meats and cheeses, ensuring that the deli area is clean, well-presented, and compliant with food safety standards. You will assist members by answering their questions, recommending products, and taking special orders, all while maintaining a friendly and positive attitude. In this position, you will be expected to uphold the club's policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and positive environment for both members and team members. You will work collaboratively with your colleagues to achieve daily goals and deliver outstanding service. Your commitment to excellence will be reflected in your daily tasks, which include maintaining the cleanliness of deli equipment, inspecting shipments, and ensuring that all products meet company quality standards. You will also be responsible for operating deli equipment safely and efficiently, as well as cleaning and sanitizing food surfaces throughout the department. Regular attendance is essential, and you may be required to assist in other departments as needed.
