A Deli/Bakery Supervisor’s main duties include but are not limited to, supervising employees within the Deli/Bakery department to ensure the department is functioning safely, effectively and customer service is being provided at all times. Main duties include preparing, cooking, baking and serving customers in the Deli/Bakery Department. Responsible for phone orders, custom orders, serving customers, cleaning machinery and department and stocking when the inventory requires. May be responsible for checking materials and supplies and reporting when stock is low. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field. Works under immediate supervision of the grocery assistant manager and manager. Primary job functions may require exercising independent judgment. Abides by pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our customer satisfaction and revenue growth objectives.
