Sodexo Government is seeking a Deli/Bakery Manager for DECA (Defense Commissary Agency) at Bolling Air Force Base located in Washington, DC. The Deli/Bakery Manager will be managing the operations of a small deli / bakery. Knowledge of deli / bakery operations, including merchandising, ordering and customer service is essential.

Requirements

• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Experience working and managing a team in a retail deli / bakery operation
• Excellent client relationship skills
• Successful customer service skills
• Experience in grocery stores, deli, bakery operations preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage frontline staff
• Oversee deli / bakery operations
• Ensure department HACCP and safety programs for regulatory compliance
• Implement frontline training programs
• Open and close the operation
• Maintain daily operation standards
