Deli Clerk Provide prompt and courteous service to the customers Cut delicatessen meats and cheeses to customers preference Weigh, wrap, code and price deli products accurately Replenish shelves, check for out-of-code items and rotate product Prepare party trays and arrange foods according to established guidelines Maintain a regular cleaning and sanitation program Maintain knowledge of all products sold in the department Good mathematic skills to operate scales & computers and to coordinate dates for inventory rotation. Other assignments as directed by supervisor Must be 18 years of age Physical Demands: Stand on feet, bend forward, stoop or walk for the majority of the time on duty Work in freezer and/or cooler for short periods of time. Lift cases/containers of product Work safely around deli slicer machines and knives. Lift, push, and/or pull items up to 40 pounds. Ability to wear company-provided uniform, and maintain a clean and groomed appearance.
