About The Position

Rosauers Supermarkets is opening a new location this June and is seeking enthusiastic team members for its pre-opening team. This role offers the chance to train before the store opens and assist with setup to ensure a seamless launch. Rosauers Supermarkets, founded in Spokane, Washington, aims to be a community hub for food enthusiasts, offering fresh ingredients and a wide selection of groceries, while curating memorable shopping experiences through its dedicated team. As a Deli Associate, you will be responsible for creating customized sandwiches, salads, and other culinary delights, ensuring a high-quality deli experience for customers with attention to detail and a passion for quality.

Requirements

Previous experience in a similar role.
A genuine dedication to providing an outstanding customer experience.
Facilitate clear, concise, and positive interactions with others.
Candidates must be 18+ years or older.
Complete a pre-employment background check.
Food Workers Card.

Responsibilities

Welcome and greet customers when entering or leaving the store.
Answer customer questions, help locate items, and provide recommendations.
Update displays, cases and other customer-facing areas to ensure new items and promotions are showcased.
Ensure work areas are ready to service customers by cleaning surfaces, equipment and floors, and removing trash.
Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures established by the company and other regulatory agencies.
Cooperate with others to ensure customer satisfaction.
Perform other duties to ensure the overall success of our company.
