Deli Associate
About The Position
As a Deli Clerk, no two days are the same. This role focuses on providing exceptional customer service and demonstrating knowledge of various deli items such as meats, cheeses, salads, sandwiches, dips, and gourmet and hot case food items. The associate is responsible for preparing delicious food to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat visits. Daily tasks involve operating tools like meat and cheese slicers, food scales, fryers, ovens, and cash registers. The Deli Clerk is expected to guide, inspire, and create memorable experiences for every guest.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Eager and willing to learn
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Demonstrate knowledge of deli meats, cheeses, salads, sandwiches, dips, and gourmet and hot case food items
- Prepare delicious food items
- Utilize various tools including meat and cheese slicers, food scales, fryers, ovens, and/or cash registers
- Guide, inspire, and make every guest’s visit memorable
