About The Position

DSYEP Supervisor - $42.00/ Hour SUMMER TEMP HIRE Essential Functions: The following duties are normal for this position. The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude the candidate from the classification if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment for this classification. Other duties may be required and assigned. Lead and support Case Managers and oversee an assigned group of youth participants, to include the following duties/responsibilities: Supervise, support, and provide guidance to Case Managers to ensure effective service delivery, participant engagement, and achievement of DSYEP training objectives  Monitor intern participation across caseloads, including attendance, engagement, and overall progress, ensuring timely intervention when needed  Ensure Case Managers maintain daily contact with interns to support program goals, provide guidance, and facilitate communication with interns and their parents/guardians  Provide direction and support to staff in addressing barriers impacting intern participation, including developing action plans and ensuring consistent follow-up  Review and ensure accurate collection, documentation, and maintenance of participant records in a confidential manner, including completion of all reporting requirements and administrative tasks  Oversee and/or conduct site visits with employers and interns to monitor progress, address concerns, and support successful placements  Attend and/or lead meetings and training sessions with staff, interns, partner schools, and agencies as required  Provide coaching, problem-solving support, and conflict resolution guidance to Case Managers and interns as needed  Ensure compliance with all DSYEP policies, procedures, and program standards

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years or older and eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver’s license and have reliable transportation.
  • Some travel may be required.

Nice To Haves

  • Supervisory or lead experience in case management, workforce development, or youth programs
  • Experience working with young adults ages 16–24
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Zoom/TEAMS; with the ability to learn new applications
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, conflict resolution, and active listening skills
  • Ability to remain calm and provide leadership in crisis situations
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to be compassionate, firm, and maintain confidentiality
  • Experience working with youth with disabilities is preferred
