About The Position

The primary purpose of this position is to lead the development and implementation of proactive diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives in support of Caswell Developmental Centers plan and to create a supportive environment where all have an opportunity to succeed and contribute to quality resident care. Other duties include integrating information from multiple sources to set agenda setting for meetings, coordinating events, planning, and programming for DEI Council and assisting Caswell Developmental Center with recruitment and retention strategies.

Requirements

  • Skills in diversity, equity, and inclusion best practices.
  • Skills in training methods, collecting and analyzing data and information.
  • Skills in conflict resolution, mediation methods, and effective communication.
  • Ability to research and initiate new programs/policies.
  • Basic knowledge of personnel policies and procedures.
  • Bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution and three (3) years progressively responsible experience related to the area of assignment, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
