As a Plan Administrator, you will provide exceptional customer service, foster existing relationships, instill trust and provide solutions for clients. Looking for opportunities to increase revenue for the department and the firm. Responsible for timely coordination of processes for benefit calculations/determinations, reconciliation of plan data and assets, government filings and assist with plan documents. Respond immediately to client and participant requests. Provide administration outsourcing for clients. Initiate new ideas for completing work accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, mathematics, statistics or equivalent preferred.
  • At least two years of pension plan administrative experience preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience may be substituted in lieu of minimum qualifications.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Skill in problem solving.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and to pay close attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment, while taking individual initiative to serve clients and co-workers.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects.

Responsibilities

  • Request data and asset information as needed.
  • Reconcile data and assets to ensure accuracy.
  • Manage client requests and conduct other administration outsourcing.
  • Prepare benefit calculations/determinations.
  • Prepare distribution forms and related correspondence.
  • Prepare and review participant listing and benefit statements to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare annual government forms.
  • Draft summary plan descriptions and assist with plan documents.
  • Develop software solutions using Excel and other Microsoft office applications.
  • Maintain detailed and orderly records and client files in both hard copy and electronic formats.
  • Document work procedures and communications.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance, with the ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Ensure that plan deadlines are consistently monitored and met.
  • Perform other related duties as requested by clients or plan managers.
