About The Position

Clemson University is seeking a dedicated individual to teach and coach current student-athletes in the sport of Football. The successful candidate will assist the Head Coach in managing the overall program and perform other duties as assigned. This role is crucial in shaping the athletic experience of student-athletes and ensuring they compete at the highest level of intercollegiate athletics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Relevant experience in coaching or playing football.

Responsibilities

• Coaches practice sessions, workouts, and games.
• Teaches student-athletes the fundamentals and strategies required to compete.
• Ensures compliance with sports medicine policies.
• Assists the Defensive Coordinator in making informed decisions.
• Analyzes game strategies and maintains knowledge of game plans.
• Promotes effective instruction of defensive staff members.
• Manages daily edits and handouts for playbooks.
• Monitors class attendance and social media activity of players.
• Creates practice scripts and correction packets.
• Assists with off- and on-campus recruiting visits.
