About The Position

Ignite Digital Services is seeking an experienced Defense Travel System (DTS)/PM Support Analyst located in Charleston, SC to support our client engagements within the federal government. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with superior listening, communication, and analytical talents that is comfortable in a high paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience is required
  • Finance, Business, or Accounting coursework or degree a plus
  • Prior Navy Financial experience, CDFM, or CGFM a strong plus
  • Highly competent Microsoft Office products (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • DoD Secret Security Clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with DoD acquisition programs, organizations, processes, and procedures

Responsibilities

  • Must possess basic familiarity with the Government Travel Charge Card (GTCC) including: experience with check-in / check-out process, credit limit increases, activating GTCC for travel and conducting account reconciliations.
  • Reviewing Approving Officer (AO) Designation Forms (DD Form 577).
  • Reviewing Travel Training Certificates, Travel Authorizations/Vouchers and resolving issues.
  • Responding to Travel Inquiries.
  • High-level functional expertise in DTS requirements and processes ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Ensuring accurate initiation, routing, and approval of Authorizations and Vouchers as well as the voucher payment process.
  • Candidates must demonstrate the ability to analyze information and issues and provide resolutions effectively to customers.
  • Candidates must be able to 'self-teach' new IT systems or software using available desk top procedures and help desk support.
  • Maintain action-item lists, meeting notes, and project schedules/milestones; track risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Prepare weekly status updates, dashboards, and KPIs related to travel volume, voucher aging, and procurement activity.
  • Support budget tracking for travel-related costs; highlight variances and recommend corrective actions.
  • Coordinate cross-functional working sessions and ensure documents are current in SharePoint/Teams.
  • Other duties as needed
