Boeing’s Global Spectrum Management team is seeking a highly qualified Defense Spectrum Policy Lead to support the development, coordination, and implementation of advocacy efforts related to the Company’s telecommunications and radio frequency spectrum policy interests in Arlington, VA. This position requires an understanding of defense, aviation, and telecommunications technologies, as well as knowledge of international radio regulations, government affairs, and regulatory processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing advocacy strategies, establishing and maintaining relationships with spectrum regulatory and policy representatives at both the U.S. national and international levels, and collaborating with industry leaders, trade associations, and other stakeholders to advance shared policy goals. The role also involves engaging with regulatory entities to monitor, analyze, and influence policies affecting defense, aviation and telecommunications sectors, while providing subject-matter expertise on international radio regulations and related government affairs. Strong verbal and written skills in English, the ability to convey complex regulatory and technical concepts effectively, and experience managing multiple priorities within a small, geographically dispersed team are essential. A strong interest in aviation and defense-related policy matters is highly desirable.
