About The Position

Defense Mission Expert, Lead The Opportunity: As a Defense Mission Expert, you understand that relationship-building and keen attention to detail is crucial when overseeing the lifecycle of a project. At Booz Allen, you can use your client engagement expertise to impact projects that will modernize and create efficiency across the Air Force Civil Engineer enterprise. We need someone like you who is eager to oversee complex projects that’ll enable us to change the world! As a Defense Mission Expert on our team, you’ll lead challenging projects for sensitive missions from beginning to end while managing a team of facilities professionals, engineers, data analysts, and various artificial intelligence (AI) practitioners. Using computer-related facilities management software and your problem-solving skills, you’ll oversee a team to develop creative solutions on mission-critical projects in the Built and Natural Infrastructure arena. In this role, you’ll closely impact the military Civil Engineer community by facilitating projects that impact their ability to execute their mission. With mentoring, exposure to challenging projects, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers. Requirements

  • Experience with Air Force installation and facilities planning or management as a senior Air Force Civil Engineer
  • Knowledge of Air Force installations, missions, organizations, and Real Property management
  • Ability to use software applications such as Microsoft Office, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint, or Access
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with data analysis platforms, including Tableau or Power BI
  • Experience with artificial intelligence tools and principles
  • Experience adapting new technology to complex problems
  • Master’s degree in Architecture, Planning, Engineering, Geography, or a related field
  • PE, PMP, CFM, or related Certification

Responsibilities

  • Lead analyses and solution development for facility planning and management for facility planning solutions.
  • Perform complex activities as related to the control and management of cost, schedule, risk, and resource optimization.
  • Advise clients in developing plans and programs responsive to present and anticipated portfolio, or facility requirements.
