Summary: Nisga’a Tek is seeking for a Defense Cyber Analyst at Anderson AB, Guam.

  • Assist and execute on mission assurance strategies regarding protecting and defending cyber terrain, which identifies with a mission set.
  • Work with the Government team to perform Cyber Threat Analysis and Vulnerability Analysis and provide the necessary support to manage, configure and deploy various security monitoring tools while also leveraging emerging threat intelligence (e.g. Indicators of Compromise) data to identify affected systems and the scope of suspicious activity.
  • Review and collect system-level asset data (e.g. configurations, system processes) to support further investigation and then determine and implement remediation and recovery efforts.
  • Provide recommendations on how to optimize security-monitoring tools based on threat data and hunting discoveries.
  • Review network alert data to determine relevancy and level of prioritization, conduct vulnerability scans, review vulnerability assessment reports and provides appropriate recommendations to improve overall cyber defense posture.
  • Perform key asset scanning, monitoring, patching defending.
  • Deploy and implement network/system sensors.
  • Assist in the development of TTPs to respond to threat assessments.
  • Perform real time monitoring.
  • Perform log collection and analysis.
  • Understanding of the current cyber defense posture associated with the overall enterprise architecture, including the ability to identify gaps and weaknesses to enhance mission assurance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products and SharePoint collaborative tools to build trend analysis.
  • Knowledge of network and system monitoring/auditing tools
  • Ability to analyze cyber vulnerability information and recommend mitigations.
  • In-depth knowledge of network security architecture
  • Minimum four (4) years of related experience
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • DoD 8570.1-M certified at IAT Level II, as well as Certified Ethical Hacker and expert in the following DoD, and commercial best practices
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Cybersecurity or related field
